My journey as a poet has been shaped by French, Spanish, and American communities. These experiences taught me that poetry can be both intimate and universal: a language of openness that allows us to recognize ourselves in one another. Through my work, I try to bring together tradition and modernity, offering poems that remain accessible while renewing forms to resonate with today’s readers.

What guides me above all is the belief that poetry belongs to everyone. Over the years, this commitment has grown beyond my own practice. I am proud to have launched a poetry contest for young people, which has since become an international event. Each year, it brings together children, adults, educators, and cultural organizations in a celebration of creativity and imagination.
